another beautiful little newborn in my studio – little 3 week old zoe. she was quite alert and didn’t give into sleep easily, but mum got her there in the end. she’s such a little doll – i could have watched her sleep all day. i love her big newborn sleep smile in the photograph with mum. too gorgeous. xx
i think i held my breath the whole time i was processing these images of this beautiful little 1 week old. every time i looked at these pictures i felt a little bubble rise in my chest – he is SO beautiful. it made me remember holding my own little newborns up to my cheek and feeling that amazing connection for the first time. i know all my girlfriends are going to be very quick to remind me how exhausting and hard a newborn is… but oh my… little james, how you made my heart ache. okay. i’m going to go and have a little cry now. hope you guys like your preview claire & darryn – give that beautiful boy a little squeeze from me. xx
last weekend i had the pleasure of spending a lazy sunday morning with little 8 week old lenny & his doting parents in their beautiful home.
here are a few pictures from my last shoot for 2011. new years eve doesn’t mean much to me now that i have children, as i’m usually in bed well before midnight (ha ha). but i am excited about 2012 and all the wonderful changes and surprises it will bring. thank you to all my clients for their support this year and i look forward to more fun with you guys in 2012. x

i had these two gorgeous brothers in my studio last week. 2 year old jack brought along his lovey “woof” to have his photo taken too. i love it when precious stuffed animals come along to photoshoots – because, at the end of the day, they are part of the family too. henry was placid and happy and quite enjoyed having his picture taken. jack was shy but really didn’t want to miss out on some camera time. gorgeous, gorgeous boys… mum & dad have a good recipe there.
